What Others Have to Say!

Over the years, many people have said some awfully nice things about their experiences when working with me. Here are a few nice things that have been said that may help you to get to know me better.

I've known Sue Alexander for most of my animal behavior career - we met online in the 1990's and have had many lively discussions on a wide range of behavior topics over the years. When I had to euthanize my foster dog, Lulu, she was incredibly supportive and as a result, we have been running the behavioral euthanasia grief support group she started, "Losing Lulu," since 2019. Sue specializes in creating community, and has been a true leader in bringing the discussion of behavioral euthanasia, and the support for people who have been impacted by it, into the light of day.

During the pandemic, I was very worried about keeping my behavior and shelter consulting business afloat  as clients, conferences and speaking opportunities disappeared into lockdown, but Sue helped me transition my offerings online, and as a result, I founded Shelter Behavior Hub, teaching shelter behavior staff and volunteers better help the animals in their care. To say Sue kept my body and soul together is an understatement. She has guided me through the process of setting up an online school, helped me get marketing materials started, and she continues to keep me focused and the business growing.

If you struggle with the "business" part of running a business, I highly recommend Sue Alexander's consulting services. And if, in doing so, you would like to create a community of like-minded people, this is truly one of her superpowers.

I have worked with Sue for a number of years and been able to participate not only in her seminars, but have had a behind the scenes look at how they are created. Sue has an unrelenting focus on improving her craft and learning how to improve every single day. She is available and responsive to her human and dog audiences throughout the experience. Sue answers questions with patience, tact, and a positive, curious approach that focuses learners on their own objectives and encourages them to challenge their own assumptions. Sue is an engaging presenter with more than two decades of experience developing her Good Dog model - this is an absolute must for any professional looking to better understand dog behavior and how to approach it in their own practice.

I’ve been a service dog user for over 20 years and have attended a number of seminars over the years. I attended 2 given by Sue and they were by far the best - terrific information, well organized and perfectly presented. She’s simply the best.
